A functional and stylish outdoor space
The key to the Neston project was to extend the indoor living space out into the garden via the large bi-fold doors. This was achieved through the flooring choices, planting and modern garden furniture.

The client wanted to take advantage of their large bi-fold doors, and to create a seamless outdoor-indoor effect. This was created by using flooring in the same colour as the indoor flooring, for this we used Marshall’s Urban range which replicates polished concrete.
The same paving was used to clad the retaining wall for a sleek finish, and the patio was finished with drainage and a contemporary grey outdoor tile grout.
To soften the industrial-style hard landscaping, we did a complete overhall of the planting in the garden. We incorporated bamboo, grasses and lavender for a wispy and gentle effect. Another benefit to this planting, is that is is very low-maintenance, allowing the client to truly relax in their garden without regular upkeep and maintenance.
In keeping with the contemporary garden landscaping, the client has opted for modern garden furniture. These additions allow the space to be be functional as an outdoor living space, and are a stylish element to the garden on their own.
