Sales Executive

We are looking for the right person who can bring excitement, passion and drive to this role, proactively expanding our customer base to reach its full potential. You will be comfortable working within the landscaping, construction and design industries.
Our ideal Sales Executive will be confident, smart, positive, personable and relish the challenge of selling our ranges of luxury outdoor living products. You will be able to build relationships with extremely discerning customers, guide them through their buying process by advising on design and the technical specification of our high en product line. Achieve new contracts and sales with other trade professionals, garden designers and landscapers. You will need to be computer savvy with a little creative flair and a love of the outdoors.
Reports to: Managing Director
Location: Chester-based showroom, travelling across the North West and beyond
About you:
You should be an accomplished sales person, a confident closer and a natural lead generator, with the ability to:
Convert incoming enquiries into amazing projects
Proactively grow the market for our fantastic products
Make effective outbound sales calls
Present our products face to face
Learn the unique selling points of our business
We will train you on:
The specifics of our products
How to design amazing outdoor living spaces, outdoor kitchens and landscaping products (previous experience of this, or similar, would be a distinct advantage)
Having a proven track record in sales and new business is going to be a distinct advantage, however, we would like to hear from you if you have a passion for luxury outdoor living.

Finance & Office Manager
Are you looking for a new role within an expanding family run business? Do you have experience of running a fast paced office environment? Are you a highly organised finance professional with a fantastic telephone manner?
This is a hybrid role bringing together Finance and Office Management. The role requires a diligent and organised, and enthusiastic individual with strong experience within a finance and office setting, to support our garden design and installation teams. This is an exciting role for someone who is ready to take on a challenge and grow with a fast expanding business.
About The Role:
Bookkeeping and finance administration - all elements of accounts administration:
Management of purchase ledger and sale ledger.
Preparation of payroll information and CIS.
Monthly PAYE deductions.
Bank reconciliations.
Deal with expense claims.
Production of quarterly VAT returns.
Preparation of monthly management accounts.
Preparation of Trial Balance.
Weekly revenue reporting.
Management of stock.
Handling any ad hoc queries to support Directors and team.
Providing administration support to the Directors.
Receptionist/PA duties - Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner, managing email accounts, assisting MD with PA tasks such as queries, calls and diary management.
Office management, to include: administrative duties, HR admin and general office management.
Creating and maintaining well organised computer and paper filing systems, and handling of confidential documentation.
Liaising with and supporting numerous stakeholders with the company
Essential Skills & Experience
Able to hit the ground running and multitask.
Accountancy qualifications ideally AAT Level 3 or equivalent, OR demonstrate a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Experience working within a busy office and finance role
Experience of finance software, ideally QuickBooks.
Experience in working within a company with a turnover of £1.5-2m.
Excellent computer skills - Word and Excel or equivalent is essential.
Ability to work under own initiative without direction.
Excellent organisational skills.
Excellent communicator and telephone manner.
Ambitious and aspirational to grow with the business.
Methodical and process led.
Strong administration skills.

Job Purpose:
The role is a Working Landscaping Team Leader role, you will require a keen eye for detail and a high level of hard landscaping skills including excellence in paving, decking, blockwork and brickwork. We build excellent gardens for our discerning clients, and as such you will have an extremely high level of technical skills, you will be professional and approachable manner at all times.
Key Knowledge:
· Relevant experience/qualification in landscaping
· Good understanding of landscape construction
· Basic principles of horticulture
· Good knowledge of H&S requirements
· Being able to plan project budgets, timelines and manage staff
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
· Deliver, and oversee key domestic landscaping projects
· Understanding of design drawings and setting out sites and levels
· Able to plan, prioritise and work to deadlines
· Ability to problem solve
· Ensure you and your team adhere to H&S guidelines and wear correct PPE
· Tickets / Experience of using Plant Machinery safely
· Excellent knowledge and experience of laying all types of paving inc porcelain and stone
· Excellent knowledge and experience of blockwork, brickwork and retaining walls
· Excellent knowledge and experience of decking, fencing and timber structures
· Shrub, tree planting, turfing.
