The Brass Monkey ice baths employ patented technology known as ice cycles. When it is set to below 2 degrees, the system freezes the bottom of the bath and releases it in cycles, creating 20-30mm ice sheets. This unique process allows the ice bath to drop to zero degrees with ice present, providing an unparalleled cold water immersion experience. The temperature can reach as low as 0°C, offering a refreshing and invigorating plunge.

The Brass Monkey ice bath is designed to be low-maintenance. Recommended maintenance includes replacing the filter approximately every 4 weeks and changing the UV bulb once a year. Water replacement is typically needed once a year, possibly twice with heavier use. The bath is equipped with automated sensors and software for precise temperature control and energy efficiency.
Using the companion app, users can schedule baths for optimal readiness and receive maintenance reminders to keep the water crystal clear. Regularly showering before use helps maintain water cleanliness for an extended period.
