    A bespoke planting plan

We shared a planting plan to allow our clients to continue to nurture their garden dreams into a reality.

For the Bowdon 2.0 project in Greater Manchester, the large family consists of the parents, as well as older, adult children, with a zest for entertaining. Therefore, they requested a completely redesigned garden and reconfiguration of their outdoor space to bring their modern outdoor living desires to life.

Opting for our full design and build package, we designed an initial 3D plan, which a few revisions were made to, before our clients agreed on a final master plan that met their vision.

To ensure we met their needs of an outdoor entertaining space that could be utilised all year round, we included the installation of a luxury Renson Pergola with rotating louvres covering the outdoor kitchen area, meaning our clients could cook up a storm in the comfort of their garden, come rain or shine.

Within the outdoor kitchen, we integrated both a mains gas BBQ and a kamado coal BBQ with the Big Green Egg, enabling our clients to achieve authentic flavours within the highest-quality ceramics.

Ensuring the outdoor kitchen area was a sociable space was crucial to our client, which is why we felt it was vital we built bar seating to allow conversations between our client and their guests to flow while cooking.

Of course, we had to configure the ultimate eating space to ensure the full package. Therefore, we designated a section of the outdoor patio to a large outdoor seating area, allowing for the entertainment to flow from the outdoor kitchen to the table.

For a relaxing haven, we included matching stepping stones to the rear of the garden to calm nook, consisting of luxury outdoor sofas, a warming Solus fire pit and a Solus water feature, placed to perfectly mask any noise from traffic on neighbouring roads,

The entire project included the installation of Marshalls symphony urban porcelain paving, providing the perfect modern touch to the garden. Not only is it easy to maintain for the client, but it’s stylish, practical and slip rated, with multi-functional purposes. As a result, we also utilised it to clad some of the raised borders around the garden for continuity.

Finally, our client also benefitted from a planting plan to ensure their outdoor living needs of privacy and noise reduction were met, through the use of Portugese Laurel hedging, Pleaches trees and existing Hornbeams.
