The Knutsford Project was a bespoke outdoor kitchen design and installation from Walker Landscape and Design, utilising the most premium products to provide our clients with a luxury outdoor dining experience, maintaining the existing spectacular views of their garden space.

For a recent project, we headed to the beautiful county of Cheshire to design and build a bespoke outdoor kitchen area for our client and their family. After our client scaled the internet in the quest to find the most premium products that would last them a lifetime with no compromises, they came to us requesting a bespoke Fire Magic outdoor kitchen.
With the aim of making their outdoor kitchen in Cheshire as functional as possible, without compromising their exquisite view of the garden, we opted for a concrete base and a porcelain clad wall, topped with a Dekton worktop.
Dekton worktops are a premium product which ooze quality. Boasting a guarantee of 25 years in outdoor settings with no covers, they are considered extremely low maintenance while being renowned for their robust nature.
Atop the luxury outdoor worktops in this Cheshire project, we installed a large Fire Magic gas grill, as well as a Gozney dual fuel pizza oven so our clients could cook whatever their hearts desire. Between these appliances, we placed a stainless steel sink for ultimate durability with both hot and cold running water, as well as a handy Cut and Clean combo.
The Cut and Clean combo is the perfect solution to effortless food preparation, allowing the cutting of foods on a bamboo chopping board with a waste hole leading directly into a kick bin below for ultimate convenience.
Finally, to maximise the view of the lake, we designed a breakfast bar with four stools so our client’s could socialise in comfort, while consuming their culinary delights, as well as appreciating the view, which was key for our client.
To ensure this outdoor kitchen in Cheshire did not disrupt the current view of the stunning lake in their garden, we specifically decided against any high feature walls or worktops. The beauty of working with Fire Magic is that their outdoor kitchen are entirely bespoke to the millimetre, this ultimately allowed us to include the appliances our client desire, as well as an L-shape off set to the left of the main garden greeting area to maximise the views.
With this project being completely bespoke, it was designed by our in-house garden experts. While Fire Magic kitchens require robust concrete foundations and block work for the outdoor kitchen walls, as well as housing the units, we sealed then tiled the concrete with luxury London Stone’s DesignClad cladding to ensure we maintained the current garden aesthetic.
The Dekton worktops are also entirely personalised to the space, measured specifically for this individual project for the perfect fit. We also allowed enough space to install luxury LED lighting beneath the worktops, allowing us to subtly illuminate the space, creating the perfect ambience and finish the project off beautifully.
