Creating an outdoor living space

Not many homes have the fortune of having such stunning views. When you have them it’s important to maximise them as much as possible. We made the view the centre of our design to ensure the outdoor living space was built around it. From the large rear patio, separate seating area and refreshing planting scheme, this is less a ‘garden’ and more an outdoor living space.

How we designed this stunning garden
Discover the detail

From the large rear patio which offers an extension to the internal living space to the bespoke, curved seating area capturing the last of the sun this project has a lot to offer.

The ultimate patio

The large patio area, which spans the full width of the rear of the home was built at the same level as the internal floor to give a cohesive feel from inside and out. The tiles used where Marshalls porcelain in steel to match the new window installed on the home. As we’re a Marshalls registered installer, we can offer a 5 year guarantee on the installation and a guarantee of between 10-20 years on the products themselves.

A slice of the setting sun

In addition to the large patio at the rear of the home, we also installed a separate, curved seating area at the bottom of the garden. This area, nestled amongst the new planting scheme and hunkered next to the rolling fields is the perfect place to enjoy the last of the evening sun. That planting scheme involved a full overhaul with the introduction of large shrubs, perennials and and annuals which provide a naturalist and vibrant look to the garden.

Turnkey service

From initial consultation and design, through install and project management to aftercare, this project covered it all. That design consultation included helping the clients visualise the finished product by producing 3D CAD designs. Like many of our projects, we established an ongoing after care maintenance package, regularly returning to make sure everything stayed looking as good as the day we installed it.
