How to Prepare Electrics for your Grillo Vantage Fridge Installation
When it comes to installing the fridge in your Grillo Vantage kitchen, you will find that the bin unit is always to the left of the fridge. In order to install the fridge there are 3 simple steps:
- Arrange for an electrician to bring the electrical feed to the right position
When it comes to feeding electrics to the right position, you have a few options:
- Feed the electric through the rear panel via the section designed to be cut out using a metal bladed saw (we demo this here) or if you have the Habitat rear facia panel you can use any of the holes in the design. Once the kitchen is installed we recommend you fit an outdoor IP rated plug socket to the panel behind the bin.
- If you are installing your Grillo Vantage Kitchen up against a wall where the back will not be visible, you can have your electrical install an outdoor rated socket to the wall centred to where the unit will be placed and the Grillo Kitchen installers can leave the rear panel off.
- Or, you can bring electrical up through the floor, take a look at our pre-installation guide for a video that explains the space you have to work with for this.
- Have your Grillo Vantage kitchen installed
- Have your electrical install an outdoor rated electrical socket for your fridge to plug into.

How to Prepare to Install Natural Gas for your Grillo BBQ
If you are planning to use plumbed in gas for your gas bbq there are 3 steps to arrange the connection, very much like the steps above:
- Arrange for a qualified gas engineer to get the gas feed into the correct position within your landscaping design. There is a large cavity underneath the gas grill to bring the gas pipe too, which can be done through the floor or via the rear panel by once again cutting out the specific section with a metal bladed saw.
- Have your Grillo Vantage Kitchen installed
- Your gas engineer needs to return to make the final connection into the BBQ. – to do this you will need to lift off the BBQ and place on the ground. Rock it onto its back to see the underside of the BBQ and the gas regulator. We supply a gas conversion kit and instruction sheet for your gas engineer what steps to follow to connect the gas pipe to the underneath of the BBQ. We provide a 1/2inch BSP feed valve so best for the gas engineer can provide a 1/2inch supply pipe to make the connection really simple. Once connected, list the gas grill back into place taking caution not to stretch the stainless steel worktop and reposition the front panel.

How to Prepare for Sink Installation
In order to install a sink in your Grillo Vantage Kitchen there are 3 steps to follow:
- Arrange for a plumber to bring the water feed and waste pipe to the correct location within your landscaping design
- Have your Grillo Vantage Kitchen installed
- Your plumber will need to return to do the final connections
Similarily to the electrical supply discussed for the fridge, there are multiple options for where to feed the pipes:
- Through the back of the rear panel, by cutting out the designated area with a metal bladed saw
- Through the bottom of the unit by cutting out the designated area with a metal bladed saw
- Or, if you are installing your Grillo Vantage Kitchen up against a wall where the back will not be visible, you can have your water supply here and the Grillo Kitchen installers can leave the rear panel off.
In terms of sizing, your plumber will need a 32mm standard compression pipe fitting and for the tap tails a standard 15mm isolation valve.
